Casa Leonor hotel is found in the middle of the medieval village Vejer de la Frontera, on the southeast of Cádiz, Costa de la Luz.

Nearby you will find the ancient castle of Guzmán el Bueno, the  monastery of the ‘Conceptionistic Nuns’ and the former church Iglesia del Rosario. The restaurant Peña Flamenca where concerts can be seen and heard is located at the end of the street and is a meeting point for fans of Flamenco.

Casa Leonor is surrounded by white, winding, maze-like narrow streets, where you view the mixture of different styles of architecture and cultures ranging from the times of the Romans to present day. Especially impressive are the highly represented remains of andalusian-arabic times.

The hotel is built on foundations dating back to the 10th or 11th century. In the dining room two arcs from moorish times can be found.

Only a few kilometers away there are magnificent long beaches with fine white sand like El Palmar, Los Caños de Meca, Zahora, Bolonia or Conil.

The wonderful surroundings invite you toenjoy long walks and explore the various sights.

Of special interest is the nearby village Santa Lucía, situated inside stunning nature and lush vegetation close to a fully functional original roman aqueduct. South of Vejer you can stroll through the nature resort of the Parque natural la Breña y Marismas de Barbate. There you can enjoy the marvellous view from the look-out Torre del Tajo.
